In Aruba, stores celebrate the year's final closing with champagne and fireworks. The fireworks are meant to scare away any bad spirits and give the store good luck for the following year. Between you and me, Aruba sounded like a war zone, but it was quite the party!
Can you tell me what it is?
This kid was watching the fireworks going off in an intersection ahead of the car. Traffic would stagnate for several minutes as the fireworks were going on in the street.
If you've played Fallout 3, I found the Capital Wasteland.
A Curacao bike cop watching over NO ONE because we were in port at 10 am on Jan. 1st. Everyone but than jewelry and electronic store owners were hungover and asleep. Curacao was kind of a bust.
