I felt a bit in the dark with this assignment. It may be that I am not as independent-minded as I think I am, but without specific instructions of exactly what to shoot, I found myself having trouble finding subjects to shoot. I ended up taking my camera with me to a chapter meeting of my honors fraternity Phi Sigma Pi and made some images there. I felt though that by the time I was getting back in the zone of taking pictures, I had taken the requisite 30 images, and had to stop shooting. I’ll have to be very mindful of how many pictures I’ve taken in future assignments. Needless to say, the instructions on how to name and organize the final pictures were a little confusing.

I was trying a few different bracketing techniques here, and that’s partly what took up so many photos. I’m finding that occasionally my meter will have me over-exposing more than I need to. I shot at ISO 800, kept my shutter between1/15 and 1/45 and my aperture between f/11 and f/2.8.
